The Story
- While we may be getting into boy who cried wolf territory with rumors of Tim Tebow and various starlets, but this one might finally have a little traction:
Tim Tebow has been spotted out with country star and my 8 year old niece's hero, Taylor Swift. Tebow just signed with the William Morris agency who also represents Swift. The two were first introduced Friday night at a Pre-Oscar's event where witnesses saw them spending the majority of the party talking to one another. The Monday after the Oscar's, the two were seen having dinner together. Tebow walked Swift out of the restaurant before he walked back in to join two others at the table.
There has been no definitive word from either camp on the relationship, but TerezOwens.com claims to have a "rock solid" source claiming that the two are infact officially dating and were introduced by mutual friends from William Morris.
Swift has recently denied dating Zac Efron, though has previously dated the much older Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer. Tebow was recently rumored to be dating Lindsey Vonn, though both parties quickly denied those rumors.
This pairing seems logical to us, despite some of the guys that Swift has previously dated, We'll certainly be looking for more public sightings of the two and keep you posted when we hear anything.

The Story
- You would be forgiven if you saw this season of Survivor and assumed that current contestant and wife of a former NFL player, Monica Culpepper was Daunte Culpepper's wife. Despite the fact that Daunte's career went down in flames pretty quickly, he's still the obvious one to think of when you hear the phrase "former NFL player Culpepper". Well, like us, you'd be wrong. Apparently there was another Culpepper who played in the NFL, only this one was a defensive tackle. Brad Culpepper's wife Monica Culpepper is a contestant on the most recent season of survivor and a member of tribe Salani (we don't know what that means either).
Brad claims that he was the one who was originally supposed to be on the show, but that when producers saw his wife - they changed their minds. While that sounds a bit too convenient for a reality TV show in need of ratings, it's a nice story. Considering Brad is the Eagle Scout in the family, one has to wonder if the Culpepper family would have had a better shot at the $1 million prize if he had gone instead of his wife.
Brad also claims that not only did he have zero contact with his wife for 50 days during filming, but that he also couldn't tell anyone where she was either. So we're supposed to believe that her parents and relatives just didn't notice that she was gone for 50 days and that they either didn't ask him about it, or they just took his word when he said she was "on a long trip". Maybe it's just my family, but if someone told me that - I'd start to wonder.
Anyway, so more on Monica. She went to the University of Florida, where she met Brad and was also named Homecoming Queen (no word on whether Brad was King). She also went to the Physical Therapy School at the University of Minnesota, where she graduated with Honors. The 41 year-old mother of three says the she gave up her life (and medical school) to help Brad's career and that she's excited to be on the show so that she can see what she's made of. Her Survivor bio says that she enjoys, among many other outdoor activities, skeet shooting volunteering in the community - hopefully separately though.

The Story
- Everyone can agree that destination weddings are a tremendous undertaking for traveling guests. Book and pay for the travel, accommodations, taking time off from work,... the list is never ending. Now imagine how pissed you'd be if you got to the nupitials only to find out that the couple delayed the wedding!
Former Raiders QB Jason Campbell was scheduled to marry Jenny Montes in her native country of the Domincan Republic this weekend. Jason and Jenny have been dating on and off for the past five years before setting a February wedding date.
VIBE Vixen is reporting that Jason called off the wedding just hours before kickoff, though Bay area Comcast SportsNet reporter Kate Longsworth(@KLongworthCSN) said via twitter:
Spoke w/ #JasonCampbell re: some 'wedding rumors' he denied leaving his fiancé at the alter, saying it's not in his character to do that
Some have speculated that the wedding was simply postponed, but there's nothing to verify that claim.
There's an interesting debate here as to whether or not Campbell, and other athlete's who have done the same thing are really doing the right or wrong thing in this instance. Richard Jefferson was famously rumored to have left his fiancee just hours before his wedding, and took his reasoning for doing so to the public via The Howard Stern Show (he also cleared the air that he and his fiancee had split days, not hours before the wedding). Jefferson argued that the divorce rate amongst professional athletes is high during their career, and crests over 80% once they retire. He cited difficult road schedules and the constant threat of infidelity from both parties as reasons he ultimately decided to walk away.
Honestly, those reasons make sense to me. Is it better to cause inconvenience for the wedding guests, but avoid entering a marriage destined for failure? Sports is a fascinating study of human and social behaviors, and the marriage debate may be at the forefront of that discussion.
While we don't know yet what really happened with Jason Campbell and his fiancee, we do know they're not married, and have yet to announce plans. We have also seen that Jenny, a former waitress, got Jason's initials tattooed on her shoulder. We also know that tattoo's are forever.
As for their relationship and wedding plans? We'll keep you posted if anything happens.
