- UPDATE: 04/11/2012: Looks like Tony wasn't lying to that classroom full of kids. Candice Crawford delivered the couple's first child on Monday, April 9th. The son, named Hawkins Crawford Romo weighed in at 8 pounds, 8 ounces (or as the guys on NFL Live pointed out, the Cowboys record last year).
Congratulations to Tony, Candice and Hawkins.
10/25/2011: Between traditional media outlets, and new/social media , there are more ways to break news than ever before. However, on October 25, 2011, Tony Romo found a new way to release news: announcing it to a group of school children. When a child asked if he had kids, Romo replied: “Um, no, I don’t have any kids, I’ve actually got one on the way. My wife’s pregnant.”
So there it is direct from the source. There's one way to dodge the tabloids...
05/31/2011: It's official; Tony and Candice were married Saturday at Arlington Hall in Dallas. The ceremony was attended by Cowboys family members such as Miles Austi, Troy Aikman Jason Witten, and owner Jerry Jones. With the current labor situation, we seriously doubt that work came up very much. Best of luck to the newlyweds.
05/04/2011: Tony and Candice have sent out the invites, and the two will be married on May 28, 2011, the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. The happy couple will be married at a ritzy estate that's apparently a popular Dallas wedding destination. Good luck to Tony and Candice.
12/19/2010: While most of the 2010 season has been lost for Romo and the 'Boys on the field, off the field appears to have been a success for Tony. According to various news reports, the couple got engaged Thursday, December 17th while out celebrating Candice's birthday. No wedding date has been announced.
04/29/2010: Long standing, yet unsubstantiated rumors of Romo and Crawford being together are beginning to appear more accurate. The two were spotted together in Las Vegas over the weekend. According to eye-witness reports, the two spent hours together in an exclusive high limit room. - Tony Romo and Candice Crawford began dating shortly after Tony's romances with Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood fizzled out. The most accurate reports indicate that the two began dating in September, 2009. Candice has a lengthy career in beauty pageants, which culminated when she was crowned the 2008 Miss Missouri and competed in the Miss USA pageant, in which she placed in the top 10. Since then, she has been working as a reporter covering high school sports for Dallas 33TV, and hosting a weekly Cowboys show called "Special Edition." She is also the younger sister of Gossip Girl "star" Chace Crawford.
OK, finally,... is it just us, or does Tony Romo have a very specific taste in women? Take a look at the last three women he's dated: Jessica Simpson, Carrie Underwood, and Candice Crawford.
