The Story
- Hunter Pence has good taste. After dating some bikini model named Terrie B and then an NFL cheerleader, now the rumor is that Hunter Pence's girlfriend is Shannon James. Yes, Shannon James the Playmate. May 2007 to be exact. So to be clear, Hunter Pence upgraded from a bikini model girlfriend to a cheerleader girlfriend to a Playmate girlfriend. Very impressive.
Hunter can thank the trade to Philly for this upgrade actually. He met Shannon James at the Hamels Foundation Diamond and Denim event on August 11th, where she was doing a promotional appearance. Rumors swirled after the event that a hot blonde had given her number to Pence, and it looks like he followed through on that. Good for him. It would've been a real shame if he had just rested on his laurels and stayed content with a mere bikini model. The relationship, while perhaps not officially confirmed as a relationship, was alluded to by a pair of recent Tweets by James.
In addition to appearing in Playboy, Shannon James has also appeared in Maxim UK, Guitar World, Reality Magazine, Steppin Out' Magazine as well as Hooters magazines and calendars.

The Story
- How they met: Roy and Nicole met in high school, though while attending different high schools. Apparently every student in at Roy's high school had to put in time in the choir, and Roy met Nicole while attending a choir convention at Mississippi State.
The two have been married for several years, and have three daughters together. Their youngest daughter was apparently born during the 2010 NLCS, though Roy told no one of his wife's impending labor. Roy told the Allentown Morning Call, "I didn't tell anybody. You have two different lives: Here and home, and I try to keep home, home."
Roy put in yeoman's work in the NLCS while baby #3 showed up. Roy went 8 innings and giving up 1 ER in game 2, caught the loss while pitching in relief in game 4, and came back to start again in game 6, giving up only 1 earned over 6 IP. Roy took a no decision in game 6, which happened to be the game the Giants clinched their World Series berth.

- UPDATE: 04/06/2011: Rumors have been flying in lately that Ryan and Krystle are now engaged. No official word on wedding dates or plans.
- Time Together: Unknown, but the two were spotted holding hands in Miami during Super Bowl weekend.
- Resume: Krystle is a Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader with 6 seasons under her belt. According to her bio, she is a Westchester University graduate who currently teaches 2nd grade, which she also calls the greatest accomplishment of her life.
In terms of her dating resume, Krystle is also a veteran of the Philadelphia pro athlete scene, after dating Flyers center Jeff Carter for a short time.

The Story
- Time Together: The two met in 1998 while Carolina was a sophomore at Boston College, and Pedro was busy starting a string of three of the most dominant pitching seasons ever recorded. They were married in 2005.
- Resume: When they first met, Carolina was a volleyball playing college student majoring in Journalism. She went on to receive her master's degree in Journalism from the University of Miami before beginning work as a sideline reported for ESPN Deportes. She now runs Pedro's charitable organization, Pedro Martinez and Brothers Foundation, which although it officially operates in both the US and Dominican Republic, it primarily focuses on children, education and healthcare issues in the DR. The foundation has recently invested a significant amount of time and money toward rebuilding and funding projects following devastating hurricanes on the baseball-talent-rich island. Carolina has also created her own program called, "The Power in Learning" program, which focuses on helping teenage women in the DR get a high quality education.

- Time Together: The two met as student athlete's at the University of Mobile, where Erin played softball. They have been together since, and have one daughter together, born in 2006.
- Fun Facts: Erin bravely took the blame when J.C. was suspended for 50 games after testing positive for the banned substance andostinedione. Erin describes herself as a fitness guru, and insisted on J.C. taking daily supplements as part of his training regimen. J.C. wound up suing the manuafacturer of the drugs for inadequate labeling.

- UPDATE: Cole Hamels has a nice playoff resume, but was pretty ineffective against the Rockies in game 2 of the NLDS. Cole gave up 4 ER and was pulled after 5 innings pitched. However, his early departure was not due to his on field mediocrity, rather Cole zipped out of Citizens Bank Park to be with Heidi who had gone into labor with the couple's first child.
- Maiden Name: Heidi Strobel
- Date of Birth: October 29, 1978
- Hometown: Born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland. Cole and Heidi currently reside in West Chester, PA.
- Time Together: Heidi and Cole first met in Florida in 2004 when Heidi threw out the first pitch at a minor league game. They were married on New Years Eve, 2006.
- Fast Facts: You may know Heidi from her 5th place finish during Survivor: The Amazon season. And if you remember Heidi from Survivor, you'll definitely remember her bartering skills during that season, where she and fellow tribe member Jenna Morasca stripped down in exchange for peanut butter and Oreos.
- Fun Facts: Heidi and fellow I-strip-for-Oreos friend Jenna would later appear in Playboy together. Since my mother knows that this website exists and her Italian temper still scares the everloving shit out of me, I'm going to pass on publishing the Playboy pictures on here. But trust me on this one when I promise you that the pictures are out there, and not hard to find.

- Hometown: Smith grew up in Philadelphia where she still lives today.
- Resume: Smith is a personal trainer and works at the Southside school in Philadelphia where she serves as the cross-country, track and the strength and conditioning coach. Earlier this year, she opened a fitness studio called Balance Chestnut Hill. The studio offers one-on-one and small group training without the typical gym crowds and clutter.
- Fast Facts: Smith and Rollins did a fashion feature for Playboy in June, 2009, where they did a photo shoot (fully clothed). The two were photographed modeling summer sports and swimwear.
