Seneca Shahara Simmons
The two met while attending Duke together. They got engaged in 2003, and were married in July, 2006.
The couple were vacationing in Los Cabos in 2003, when Elton hired a private plane to fly his proposal overhead with a message reading, “WILL YOU MARRY ME, SENECA?”
