- UPDATE: 02-14-2011: It would seem that the previous divorce rumors are untrue, as Karen is clearly still in the picture and dominating AJ's baseball decisions. Despite interest from some quality teams (namely, the Angels), AJ Burnett apparently is holding fast to his West Coast no-trade clause - all because Karen has a fear of flying. In terms of interest from East Coast teams, we have the Pirates. So hopefully the presence of Karen in the stands for one of her eight round-trip limo games a year is enough to outweigh all of the losing that will be going on in Pittsburgh.

12-20-2011: Nothing is confirmed yet, but there are rumors swirling around the Internet that the couple possibly divorced last season. These rumors began when Colin Cowherd of ESPN's The Herd said the following: "A.J. Burnett went through a terrible divorce and he still might going through it. His wife was vindictive and spiteful. I don't even feel comfortable telling you everything. The stories are ugly."
This news was met with surprise and denial by Burnett's agent, Darek Braunecker. In response to Cowherd, he stated that the reports were false, and the radio host had "no idea" what he was talking about.

- UPDATE: 12/09/2010: Joanna and Nick will be tying the knot this weekend in Palm Beach. While several Yankees are scheduled to be in attendance, there will definitely be more interesting and random guests attending. Jamie Lynn Sigler will be in attendance on Joanna's side of the ceremony, while former boy-bander Lance Bass will not only be at the wedding, but will also be standing with Nick as one of his groomsmen.
Yes, that Lance Bass.

- Time Together: Unknown, but People magazine first reported the two were together in August, 2009.
- Resume: Garcia is an actress who first came onto the scene in Nickelodeon shows, "Are you Afraid of the Dark," and "Clarissa Explains it All." She has made a solid television career, working consistently since the late 90's, most notably appearing on "Reba" for 7 seasons, and currently on "Privileged," and "Gossip Girl."
Joanna also ha brief, albeit highly memorable roles in both American Pie 2 and Not Another Teen Movie.
- Fast Facts: Joanna is fluent in Spanish and spends free time teaching english as a second language to children in the Los Angeles area.
Her charity doesn't end there. She works with an organization called, "Make the Commitment," raising awareness for cervical cancer. Finally, she is also involved in an organization called "We Reach," which helps young women organize charity events across the country, while at the same time working to empower young women.
Sadly, despite all her good work, she's dating a Yankee, and therefore sucks.

Well guess what ladies and a-holes, we were right. According to Us Weekly, after spending approximately 5 weeks having to put up with each other on a regular basis, the couple has called it splits. Whispers began when a once vocal Hudson went mum on the relationship to David Letterman saying only that she "had a fun summer," and that ARod was a "friend." Those whispers came to a head when Us Weekly published the story from an unnamed source close to the couple revealed the breakup. God, this feels good. F You ARod.
- Fast Facts: The two began dating in May, 2009, and proceeded to spend the summer flaunting their relationship across in front of any and every camera possible.

Look, I'm not a journalist, so I can write this. I hate Alex Rodriguez. I hate the fact that tonight he's going to go home and after an hour of getting turned on by looking at himself in a mirror, he's going to get the chance to hit it with Kate Hudson. Something about that seems unjust to me. Because of our well documented bitterness, I feel the need to remind that purple lip glossed dick that he wasn't the first man on that moon. - Fun Facts: It's pretty likely that Amber was the deciding factor in CC signing with the Yankees. At one point in the offseason, Amber expressed reluctance in raising their kids in the New York area. CC called Yankees GM Brian Cashman and asked him to fly to San Francisco for a third straight day of contract negotiations, only this time with a twist. CC wanted Cashman to give the New York sales pitch to Amber face to face, and following the meeting, CC signed with the Yankees.
In other words, as a Red Sox fan, I am forced to dislike this woman.
