Scotty Miller’s wife Jenna Rizkalla had a plan. The greatest quarterback in the history of sports just signed in Tampa Bay, but the whole world was shut down due to COVID-19. So how does a young receiver get his work in to hit the ground running?
His collegiate athlete fiancee takes control.
Jenna Rizkalla was a gymnast for four years at Rutgers. And while gymnasts may not always be known fore their pocket presence, Scotty Miller’s wife (more on that in a moment) stepped up. Jenna took the role of scout QB. Along the way, she demonstrated how fitness runs things in that household. And, for someone who is out there claiming he’s faster than Tyreek Hill, he’ll need any help he can get along the way.

Wide receivers, sprinters, quarterbacks, gymnasts,…. they’re all the same, right?
In an article with NJ.com,
“I kept on telling him to back up farther and farther, and I kept hitting him,” Rizkalla said with a laugh in a phone interview with NJ Advance Media last week. “A lot of people don’t believe how strong my arm is, but luckily, we have it on video.”
And, so, a pandemic routine was born in Tampa, with Miller running his routes and Rizkalla slinging the passes in their backyard or at local fields. They kept that up nearly every day in the spring and summer … until the new guy got to town.
“I was really starting to build up my arm strength during the pandemic,” Rizkalla said, “but now Tom’s taken over for me.”
Scotty and Jenna began dating in April of 2016 before getting engaged in July of 2019. These two survived training together, and managed to tie the knot in June of 2020. Pandemic be damned.

She’s proven she can throw. Can she coach speed, too?
Shortly before the big game, Scotty Miller pronounced his speed on par with the guy renowned as the fastest in the league, Tyreek Hill. When asked if he was the fastest played in the league, Miller told the Dan Patrick Show
“I’m taking me, every day of the week. I’ll take me over anybody. Tyreek is unbelievable, super quick, unbelievable talent. But if we’re talking about a race, I mean, I’ve got all the confidence in myself going up against anybody.”
Scotty Miller’s wife has proven to be an effective scout QB. Can she also coach up fast twitch muscles? We all like Scotty Miller, but a straight race against Tyreek? He’ll need all the help he can get.
