DeMarcus Ware's wife Taniqua Ware

After years of holding the title of DeMarcus Ware's girlfriend, Taniqua Ware is now the sole holder of the title of DeMarcus Ware's wife. The two tied the knot after years of dating in March, 2005 with virtually no fanfare. Actually less than no fanfare. They stopped for fast food on the way home. That's your reception. It's almost an anti-reception. The two met and began dating in high school in Auburn, Alabama.

There are many stories online about the couples quest to become parents. Taniqua has been through three failed pregnancies, including a stillborn son, Omar. Omar is the inspiration for DeMarcus's tattoo of an 'O' with angel wings.
After the second failed pregnancy, the Ware's decided to adopt a child, daughter Marley. The Ware's still wanted to grow their family with either biological or adopted children.
In November, 2010, the Ware's finally got their wish when Taniqua gave birth to a healthy son, DeMarcus Jr. Following the birth, DeMarcus told ESPN.com, "“It’s just a blessing,” said Ware, who has a 2-year-old adopted daughter, Marley. “Sometimes if you’re able to just fight through things and have faith, blessings happen. To be able to have a kid, DeMarcus Jr., I think it’s awesome. People who have never seen just the birthing process, it’s unimaginable and it’s just a great thing.”

Taniqua is the daughter of a police officer, who formerly worked in personnel for the Air Force.

You are so brave. Im sorry for the struggles you all had but to come out of it still strong is awesome. I know your babies here are so blessed just as im sure you feel blessed in return. Thank you for sharing your story. Im 8 months along now after first being told I could never get pregnant again due to a botched surgery after I had my 9 yr old daughter. Its been a hard pregnancy but I dont take a moment for granted. You are so strong, I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers.

I am so happy for you guys. This journey of life is no joke and the "hard knocks" will come, BUT if you're willing to keep the faith, stay allowing God to order your steps and never give up, He will not only show up, but He will show out. Taniqua you are a beautiful woman, inside and out and I pray God continues to pour His blessings into the lives of you and your beautiful family. XoXo
