UPDATE: Charlie Bell’s Wife, Kenya Bell, was arrested late Monday and charged with assaulting her husband. According to the police, the former Miss Michigan USA attacked her husband with a box cutter and he sustained minor injuries. Kenya Bell was released on $5,000 bail and ordered to have no contact with her husband, Charlie Bell which, judging from the mugshot to the right, is a good thing. Charlie seems to agree, posting on his twitter: “This has been the longest day of my life, let the bath water start. I need to unwind.”
Charlie Bell played sparingly this season for the Golden State Warriors after playing 5 seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks and, prior to that, winning the national title while at Michigan State.
Kenya Bell, a model and former Miss Michigan USA, is Charlie Bell’s wife. Kenya Bell was a model, appearing in campaigns for, among others, Ford Motor Company and Bally’s. According to her own, not very modest, website she owns “hybrid Lexus, a convertible BMW, a 6 carat diamond ring, and a 10,000 square foot house”. Well, we’re all proud of you Kenya.
She has two singles on iTunes (“His Name” and “He”), appeared on E! True Hollwood Story: Basketball Wives TV show and works with several charities including her own called Soles 2 Souls.
