UPDATE: 02/08/2013: Looks like using the phrase Tiger Woods’ girlfriend Lindsey Vonn is a lot more feasible than a week ago.
After suffering a serious knee injury in Austria, Lindsey Vonn was spotted boarding Tiger Woods private jet for a flight home to the States. I can’t really come up with a ton of reasons someone would send their private jet to Austria unless there was a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow. Let’s keep an eye to see this one unfold. I’m predicting Lindsey make an appearance in Augusta come April…
Is anyone else amazed that Tiger Woods has almost become a tragic figure?
In the wake of the insane mistress scandal that rocked his personal life, his professional life was subsequently rocked. Whether it’s losing a steady hand at home in Elin Nordegren, or losing the ability to score strange on the side without everyone watching him,… Tiger seems to have lost his mojo. The man who was once the most dominant force in his sport of any professional athlete has shrunk from golf God to average Joe.
In an interesting turn of events, we’ve seen Tiger’s name in the press for a couple reasons this week. On Friday, he shot to the top of the leader board after posting a -7 at the Farmer’s Insurance Open, and earlier in the week, we started hearing whisper’s that Tiger Woods’ girlfriend is Lindsey Vonn.
Us Magazine is reporting that Tiger Woods has been dating Lindsey Vonn since late November. There have been rumors in recent days that Tiger was trying to get back with Elin, but many are suggesting that those rumors were planted to keep the press off the relationship with Vonn. Says Us Weekly:
“The 37-year-old golf icon and Vonn began seeing one another in November. He’s been hot on Vonn’s trail as of late, watching her ski in the World Cup in Austria, then taking her on an Antiguan vacation, according to the magazine”
Not a ton of details other than this, so we’ll keep an eye out. Tell you this much, if this relationship is real and it helps Tiger get his game back, then we might be seeing Vonn standing off 18 in Augusta this April. We’ll know for sure then.
