Seriously, who doesn't know a Craig Anderson?

I know a Craig Anderson. You know a Craig Anderson. I'm pretty sure everyone in America knows a Craig Anderson. In the spirit of PlayerWives.com, I can say that for the guy I know - Craig Anderson's wife is way cooler than him.

But you're not here to know about the common Craig Anderson. You're here to know about the Ottawa Senators' goalie Craig Anderson. Hockey playing Craig Anderson's wife Nicholle Anderson has been in the picture since 2010, and he also appears to have done quite well for himself. Craig and Nicholle were married in the summer of 2010, and had their first child together, son Jake, in the summer of 2011. Anderson was traded to Ottawa late in the 2011 season before signing a four year extension to have some stability in his hockey life.

Following the 2011 season, many speculated that the Illinois native Anderson would be contacted by Team USA to play in the World Championships. With their son on the way, Anderson shot down that possibility before even being asked, telling the Toronto Sun,

"They haven't contacted me directly, but my agent and I have talked about it, and we just decided that I've been away from my wife too long these last couple of months here, we're expecting a baby in July, and I think family is important. Not getting to see her for the 21- or 28-day tournament, whatever it is, could be tough on the family life. If she wasn't pregnant and I hadn't been away from her for a couple of months, I think it might be a different story."

The Anderson's split their time between Ottawa and Florida (where Nicholle is from) where they live in the offseason.

UPDATE: UPDATE 2 (7/13/2010): Fisher and Underwood made their marriage official on July 10, 2010. The event reportedly cost upwards of $500,000, but has been referred to as "down to earth," "filled with Southern charm,"and "charming," by guests in attendance. In a bit of a surprise move, but staying true to her Southern charm, the far more famous Underwood adopted her new husband's name, signing a letter of thanks to fans as Carrie Fisher.
UPDATE 1 (12/30/2009)A Christmas engagement now changes the title of this post.
According to Underwood's website: "I think you all know what Santa left under the tree for me this year... a fiance!" Estimates have placed the price of the diamond engagement ring somewhere between $150,000 and over $1,000,000. No wedding details yet announced.
Time Together: The two met after Underwood performed a concert in Ottawa in March, 2008. They began dating shortly after that time. Underwood also stated that no matter how long they date, the two will never live together unless husband and wife.
Date of Birth: March 10, 1983
Resume: Underwood was the winner of season four of American Idol, and has gone on to win a bunch of important music industry awards and sell a bunch of records. Oh, and she dated Tony Romo for the year before she met Fisher and Romo met Jessica Simpson
Fun Facts: For those that don't know the best thing about Carrie Underwood, here goes:
During her audition for American Idol, Underwood admitted to having a third nipple removed, describing it as only looking "like a mole." And I honest to god have no idea whether this is hot or gross.
Fast Facts: Underwood recently released a new CD and in the liner notes, she wrote an over the top tribute to Fisher saying, "Thank you #12. You are the most amazing addition to my life! You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you so much! You make my life better in every way! I thank God for you every day... xoxo, Carrie."
In response to this message, Fisher comically offered to return the favor once his next CD dropped.

Mike Comrie's Wife Hilary Duff

UPDATE: 08/14/2011 - On their first wedding anniversary, Mike Comrie and wife Hillary Duff announced that Hillary is pregnant with the couple's first child. Hillary Duff also posted some new wedding photos, which we have posted to the right.

02/26/2010 - The site BauerGriffinOnline has reported with photographic evidence that Comrie and Duff got engaged during the the NHL's break for Olympic hockey. They have a series of pictures showing Comrie asking Duff, and then her later celebrating and admiring the ring. The photos are an admittedly impressive stakerish narrative of the events, so head over and check it out for yourself.
Date of Birth: September 28, 1987
Time Together: The two began dating in 2007, shortly after Duff's breakup with emo-pop lead man Joel Madden of Good Charlotte (that's right, I called it emo-pop).
Resume: She "sings," "acts," has feuds with Lindsay Lohan and her sister was in Napoleon Dynamite. That sums it up. She's also probably too popular to be called "Mike Comrie's Wife Hillary Duff".
Fast Facts: Here are some real fast facts for you:
- Fact: Mike bought Hilary a Mercedes Benz for her 20th birthday.
- Fact: Mike and Hilary dressed up as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for Halloween in 2008.
- Fact: Duff dated "singer" Aaron Carter for two years from 2001-2003(yes, from her age 14-16). The relationship ended when Carter cheated on her with Lindsay Lohan and Duff's best friend.
- Fact: Duff is (was?) a virgin and proud of it. In a 2006 interview with Elle magazine, Duff said, "(virginity) is definitely something I like about myself. It doesn't mean I haven't thought about sex, because everyone I know has had it and you want to fit in." She later denied the quotes.
- In July, 2009, Duff was named a Youth ambassador to Bogota, Colombia. This title required Duff to spend five days in the city doing such work as distributing backpacks to students.
