Al Davis married the former Carol Segal in 1954, and the two were married until his death from prostate cancer on the morning of October 8, 2011. They have one child together, son Marc; who along with his mother Carol, are the direct heir's to Al Davis' fortune and presumably the Raiders team.
Most folks reading this know of Davis' cold public demeanor, where he was never shy to speak candidly with no concern for any possible public humiliation of his target. However, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette passed along this interesting tidbit on the long time Raiders owner in today's obituary.
When his wife, Carol, had a serious heart attack, he moved into her hospital room and lived there for more than a month. And when he hears that even a distant acquaintance is ill, he'll offer medical help without worrying about expense."
Reports are currently circulating that the succession plan has always been, and will be that Marc is to take over day to day ownership operations of the team.

Jason and Mercedes began dating in 2007. Numerous reports suggest that Mercedes moved in with Jason after only three weeks of dating. As of 2010, it appeared that the two had split up, and as of print in August of 2011, we're seeing information that suggests that Jason has moved on, and is engaged to be married in 2012.
The 1981 born Mercedes is a beauty pageant queen, having competed in the Miss DC pageant on four separate occasions. After being a semi-finalist in 2003, she advanced to runner up in 2005 and 2006 pageants. In 2007, she was crowned Miss District of Columbia, and competed in the Miss USA pageant.

- "Well I think it's great that Americans are able to choose one way or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And, you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman, no offense to anybody out there. But that’s how I was raised and I believe that it should be between a man and a woman."
Pressure on her intensified when she would not back down from these comments, and Prejean repeatedly cited her Christian faith as the reasons behind her statement.
You obviously know her as the 2009 Miss California and Miss USA first runner up who made some controversial comments in regards to the topic of gay marriage. During the 2009 Miss USA pageant, Prjean was asked her feelings on the topic by openly homosexual celebrity blogger/pageant judge Perez Hilton, which she replied by stating:
After Miss America, Prejean spent the summer of 2009 embroiled in a number of controversies which ultimately led to her termination as Miss California and Miss USA runner up. Among the scandals: racy photos of her were released online, which Prejean sluffed off as being regrettably taken as a taking as a naive, young model. CNN later reported on the existence of a Prejean solo-sex tape, which was later reported to in fact be 7 sex tapes. Prejean called them the worst mistakes of her life (though this was admittedly before she began dating Kyle Boller). She was ultimately terminated with K2 Productions, the company that runs the Miss USA pageants due to repeated breaches of contract, which Prejean described as happening because she refused to model for Playboy or appear on NBC reality show, "I'm a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here." K2 Productions had a number of claims, including Prejean's failure to repay a $5,200 loan for breast implants.
After learning of the sex tapes, Miss USA owner Donald Trump "half jokingly" said, "Maybe she should become a major porn star, make millions of dollars, and give it to worthy causes."
