Championship Sunday is upon us, and in a PlayerWives tradition, it’s time to rank the playoff teams against each other.
In the matchup that’s sure to create an offensive explosion on the field, the battle off the field matches up two of the tamer, classier, yet still smoking hot wives of quarterbacks in the NFL.
Brett Favre is a man who appears to have a hard time quitting things, which is why we’re making inappropriate leaps and bounds by saying the following: Since Brett credits his wife Deanna with helping him quit his addiction to vicodin and alcohol, Deanna must be an amazing woman. Too far?
In all seriousness, Deanna Favre has stood patiently alongside Favre through his stuggles with addiction, while also being forced to overcome her own battle with breast cancer. Overcoming the disease inspired Deanna to start the Deanna Favre Hope Foundation, which raises money for uninsured and underinsured women battling breast cancer.

Meet Brittany Brees: Half of one of the most charitable couples in the NFL. The Brees’ moved to New Orleans shortly after Hurricane Katrina and have donated significant amounts of both time and money to help rebuild the city. Good person and obscenely hot to boot? Come on……..

Championship Sunday is upon us, and in a PlayerWives tradition, it’s time to rank the playoff teams against each other.
There’s been a ton of talk off the field (well mostly by Rex Ryan) about Sunday’s matchups, but let’s get down to what really matters here.
Which team has the hotter wife and girlfriend section?
The Jets look like they may just be a team of destiny, led by their rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez. Sanchez has become a star in the greater New York area, both on and off the field.
Before the season, Sanchez took part in a steamy photo shoot for GQ magazine with model Hilary Rhoda. The two began dating, and in true New York style, rumors of the two straying began hitting the tabloids. Rhoda was supposedly seen “canoodling” with NHLer Sean Avery, and Sanchez was rumored to be hitting everything in sight. While their current status is still unknown, what is known is that she is definitely the hottest one to grace the player’s family section at Giant Stadium this season:

On the other side of the stadium, the Colts wives section will be represented by a Playboy Playmate, but why not represent them by the wife of the face of their franchise.
Meet Ashley Manning, Peyton’s next door neighbor from his freshman year of college. The two have been married for almost 9 years now, and continue together today, despite rumors of infidelity splitting them up.

Most people are giving the Colts a huge advantage in Sunday’s game, but this battle certainly appears to lean to the Jets. At least there’s that, right?

The ALDS and NLDS were quick, and then we took a week off.
The ALCS was over before it began. The NLCS seems like it ended seven weeks ago.
The playoffs have been boring. There. I said it. This is all I recall from the 09 playoffs:
1. The Red Sox decided not to play.
2. The Angels liked Nick Adenhart.
3. The Yankees and Phillies are good.
4. Fox wants us viewers to know that Alex Rodriguez is dating Kate Hudson. Alex Rodriguez wants to impress Ms. Hudson so much that he’s pretending to be someone else at the plate this month.
5. Cliff Lee and CC Sabathia make up 500 pounds of awesomeness(and if you weren’t aware, one player has a slight edge in weight)
Yeah, that’s seriously it. I don’t think many people can deny that it’s been a pretty unintense, drama free, forgettable October.

Even though the Dodgers and Phillies were able to dispatch their first round opponents quickly and easily, their battles here at PlayerWives did not turn out as well.
Dodgers rep Marikym Hervieux(Russell Martin’s girlfriend), was taken down by Cardinals gal, Heidi DeRosa. Danyll Gammon, engaged to Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki, easily defeated Phillies rep Jennifer Utley.
One of these teams will have their luck turn in the NLCS. The three representatives from the Dodgers average out at a 6.7 clip, while the ladies representing the Phillies average a 6.1.

Much like the on field Yankees, the Yankee wives, represented by Laura Posada soundly defeated the Twins rep, Lisa Nathan. In the other AL matchup, even though Red Sox fans don’t have a lot to cling to after the ugly 3 game series, at least Jon Lester’s wife Farah Johnson Lester defeated Howie Kendrick’s wife Jody Kendrick.
Will the women of the Yankees and Angels have the same results in the ALCS matchups? Your vote helps decide.
The three Yankee ladies for round 2 average out at a 6.6 clip, while the three women representing the Angels average a 5.8.
