The Story
- Gaby Sanchez married Miami Herald sports reporter, Judy (nee Erwin), on January 9, 2010. Judy traveled with Gaby Sanchez to his first All-Star Game in Phoenix, and is writing a blow by blow recap of their time together. It's a great read from someone actually experiencing the hoopla this week.
Aside from her almost diary style entries on the trip to Phoenix, we have to ask the question. Is it journalistically ethical to have a wife at least partially covering her husband's team? There is nothing to indicate she's been nothing other than fair and impartial, and this is in no way a commentary against Judy, but what if something nefarious did come up? Could we trust all parties to recuse herself and allow others to handle impartially?

- Time Together: Hanley and Elisabeth are from the same neighborhood in Santo Domingo and have three sons together: Hanley Jr., born November, 2004, Hansel, born September, 2007 and Ricardo born June, 2008.
- Fun Facts: Before we say anything here, we want to be clear that it is not the business of Playerwives to start rumors. With that reminder freshly reintroduced to our readers, we shall continue.
On Hanley's personal MySpace page, he's posted numerous pictures of him posing with various bar broads. During his time with the Portland Sea Dogs, there were rampant rumors in that city about Hanley's affinity for the night life and Double A groupie trim. To be clear, we're not accusing Hanley of any nefarious activities, but we are saying that the rumors are out there, and Hanley's not doing himself any favors with the photos he chooses for his Myspace page.
Hanley and Elisabeth remain married today, so Elisabeth is either at peace with the reality of being married to a 25 year old super-duper star, or she's convinced that she's still the only one for him.
