AJ McCarron has quickly taken over as the face of Alabama football (Nick Saban not included). After leading the Crimson Tide to a National Title in his sophomore year, McCarron has his team back in the National Title game in his junior year. As the resident demi-God of Mobile Bay, it would be easy to assume that McCarron would loathe anything to come from 'Bama's greatest rival in Auburn.

However, AJ McCarron's girlfriend Kstherine Webb might be the one thing to make any athlete forget his rivalry. McCarron has recently begun dating Webb, Miss Alabama 2012 who happens to be an Auburn alum(or is she an Auburn alum who happens to be Miss Alabama 2012). Busted Coverage is one of the first to break this story, leaning most heavily on Twitter evidence; including a very 'close' photo taken together on Christmas Eve, Webb noting that she will be attending the BCS title game with the whole McCarron family, and the Auburn alum actually saying, "#RollTide.' Webb is currently employed by fast food giant of the South, Chick-Fil-A as a director of training.

The more we learn about AJ McCarron, the more similarities we draw to Johnny Manziel. We're not talking about their skill set on the field necessarily, but look at them off the field:
- Both QB's are the king's of their respective campuses.
- Both Johnny Manziel's girlfriend and AJ McCarron's girlfriend are absurdly hot.
- Both AJ McCarron's mother and Johnny Manziel's mother have made themselves the topic of plenty of interest both in the crowds, in the TV landscape and most popularly in the blogosphere.
- Both have put together one hell of a college career.

So here's the question,.... what wins out? A Heisman, or a national title? Does a second national title push it over the edge? AJ McCarron vs. Johnny Manziel. Katherine Webb vs. Sarah Savage. Heisman vs. National Title. Who ya got?

It takes a lot to overshadow AJ McCarron. AJ is after all the starting QB on the Alabama Crimson Tide and helped guide the team to the 2012 National Championship. Yet one person has found a way to be bigger and dare I say more popular than AJ. That person would be non other than.......... AJ McCarron's mother Dee Dee Bonner.

We've talked about this before but covering and writing about someone's mother isn't something we are too keen on. For some reason it feels wrong to write a tasteless post about someone's mother. So when we do you decide to post about an athletes mother you know it has to be special and Dee Dee is the definition of special. Would anyone argue that Dee Dee more than holds her own against an WAG we have on this site. I tried to come up with another athlete's mother who we could compare Dee Dee to and really there is no one that can touch her. Actually the only mother I could come up with would even be in the same conversation as Dee Dee isn't even sports related. Justin Bieber's mother Pattie Mallette is the only mother who is in the same league as Dee Dee.

Not hard to realize that Dee Dee isn't your typical college football mom. She's only 42 which by my math means she had AJ when she was 20. Dee Dee and her first husband, AJ's dad Tony, divorced in the 1990's. Dee Dee did remarry after her divorce from Tony to one lucky guy named Derek. As if Dee Dee wasn't already the world's greatest mother she is also extremely active on Twitter under the handle @DeeDeeBonner. The good news for every guy that watches college football is AJ announced he is coming back for his senior year. That means another year of Dee Dee Bonner related articles and posts! Before AJ hits his senior year he has a chance to win back-to-back BCS titles when he takes on Notre Dame. The big question for me is who will get more coverage in the week leading up to the title game, AJ or his mother?

Is anyone having a better 2012 than Johnny Manziel?

The last time we looked into Johnny's personal life, we realized that the King of College Football was loving his reign at the top with beautiful women doing everything possible to get themselves into a picture with him. Now, after being crowned the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, it's pretty clear that Johnny Football has a second trophy to be proud of.

Meet Johnny Manziel's girlfriend Sarah Savage. The world was more or less in the dark about this couple until the Heisman ceremony when pictures of the two surfaced, and word leaked that the two celebrated his victory in style. Sarah Savage is a model who is currently with the Avant agency in Texas, is a at Texas A&M where she will earn a BBA in marketing this spring. Now, Johnny may have chicks in lingerie throwing themselves at him, but from our perspective, it looks like he's done way better than any Halloween party pictures prove.

Now, where this actually gets interesting is what happens next? Johnny still has more time to spend at A&M before any sniff of the NFL becomes a reality, but Savage is about to get her second degree after obtaining a BA in Management & Operations from Univeristy of Texas - San Antonio (which doubles as her hometown) in 2010. Clearly a bright and driven student, will Savage want to enter the working world immediately or does she put things on hold and wait around College Station to stay close to Manziel? Or does she trust the biggest name in college football to be in Texas while she goes and tries to start a new career?

No matter what happens, this is impressive. Johnny Manziel has been on our radar for four months, and is already logging seasoned vet stats when it comes to his dating life.
