- Fun Facts: The Red Sox squared off against the Indians in the 2007 ALCS, and were leading the series 3 games to 1. Shortly before game 5 in Cleveland, the Indians announced they would be having Danielle Peck, Beckett's ex girlfriend at that time, sing the national anthem. The Indians claim coincidence. Red Sox fans claim it was a middle finger at Beckett. Becket claims,... well, I'll let Beckett speak for himself below.

Rather than fight a potentially losing battle against a dude who hasn't played since 2003, Annette took matters into her own hands.

- UPDATE: Dustin has officially withdrawn from the 2009 All Star game, due to Kelli experiencing complications with her pregnancy. Pedroia released the following statement: "After consulting with [Red Sox manager Terry Francona], Theo [Epstein], Phyllis Merhige of Major League Baseball and my wife, Kelli, I have decided to withdraw from this year's All-Star Game in St. Louis. I will instead stay in Boston with my wife as we tend to a serious family health matter."

- Resume: As the wife of Boston's longest tenured player, Stacy Stover is a frequent representative at Red Sox charity events, most specifically events for the Jimmy Fund. She works closely with Wakefield's Warriors, which is an organization that gives children being treated at the Franciscan Hospital for Children in Boston have the opportunity to come to Fenway Park, watch batting practice from the field, and meet Tim and other Red Sox players before every Tuesday home game.

- UPDATE: 11-23-2011: Old news by now, Adrian Gonzalez's wife Betsy Gonzalez is pregnant with their first child. Based on the rumors, it sounds like she is due any day now!
- Fast Facts: Adrian and Betsy reside in San Diego and Surprise, AZ. They originally bought this house to be close to the Rangers spring training facility, but are still close to the Padres spring training home.
- Resume: Betsy run the Adrian and Betsy Gonzalez Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to empowering underprivileged youths in the San Diego community through various athletic, education and health initiatives. They frequently hold fund raising events in the San Diego area that are well attended by Gonzalez's Padre teammates.
