The Story

• Probably my favorite part of the SI swimsuit issue has been the introduction of body paint. Combine that with hot soccer wives/girlfriends and you have a dream pairing for me. Clint Dempsey's wife was one of the few selected to partake in the body painting before the 2010 World Cup. Now for those who may not be too familiar with Clint he's the all time US leading scorer in the premier league and is rumored to be looking for a transfer during the summer to a Championship League team. With the way Clint has played in 2012 this might lead to a major bidding war, one that could involve any of the big European soccer clubs.
  
  Bethany and Clint were married on July 28, 2007. They meet while both where in college attending Furman College. While the two became friends the romance took some time to blossom. Clint eventually headed up to Boston to play for the New England Revolution and Bethany worked on her Master's Degree. Eventually the two got together while Clint was with the Revolution and married soon after that. They have two children together; a daughter, Elyse and a son, Jackson. The entire family lives in Wimbeldon, England where Clint plays.
