Ryan Getzlaf’s wife Paige Getzlaf is the perfect hockey wife. Not only is she smoking hot, but she also shows great support for Ryan. She congratulated him on his second hat trick this season via Twitter and often wishes him luck when on the road. Getzlaf is projected to make the Canadian Olympic hockey team that will challenge for a gold medal in Sochi this February. He certainly has a good chance of adding a second gold medal to the accomplishments that Paige has cheered him on for.
Paige and Ryan have two young sons, and are also expecting their first daughter this May. Perhaps their now 1-year old son, Ryder, will have a chance to follow Ryan’s footsteps and play pro hockey one day. Ryan Getzlaf’s son Ryder has been attending practices and recently been given his first pair of skates. Both Getzlaf boys also recently attended the Getzlaf third annual golf shootout. The charity event was held to benefit Cure Duchenne, a non-profit organization that raises money and awareness for the disease. Duchenne is a nasty muscle disease that affects boys usually age 5-12 and prevents them from participating in sports or even affecting basic limb motions in severe cases. Paige has been a big part of the event in the past and her participation this year helped the foundation raise over $300,000. Paige and Ryan Getzlaf have set up a great family and are living quite happily together as one of the best hockey couples there is.
