Ben Roethlisberger’s wife Ashley Roethlisberger is why you’re here. So rather than rag on Ben Roethlisberger for past goofy behavior, we’re going to tell you about her. Ben and Ashley have been married since 2011, giving them four years to settle into life as a pro sports duo. The four years has paid off as it really seems like he’s a different guy now. Hey, he might be stashing “Silence of the Lambs” style pit girls in his basement for all we know. For all intents and purposes, his public image has been vastly improved since marrying this lovely lady.
There’s a few things about Ben that you may not know. Ben Roethlisberger’s wife did not live with him until they were married because of religious beliefs. So that’s different. Now the couple have got two kids– Ben Jr. and Baylee. Ashley first got pregnant four months after they were married in Pittsburgh, and the wedding looked nice. You can imagine how much flak the couple had to take after all the controversies surrounding Ben and his proclivities in the bars. But it’s worth noting that Ben won the 2013 Walter Payton Man of the Year award, showing, there’s definitely growth since Ashley came along. People make mistakes, but winning that award takes a lot of effort and work, and it means that the person is trying hard to give back to a community.
Ashley is a physician’s assistant, which is nothing to scoff at since it’s technically a higher position than a registered nurse. They’re pretty important when it comes to diagnosing illnesses and helping out in surgeries. Ben Roethlisberger’s wife really does seem like a very sweet lady. I saw a picture of her with their son and two Bernese Mountain dogs all holding signs that read, “Welcome home daddy, we love you!” It really was the most wholesome image you can imagine. Take whatever jaded view about “restoring one’s public image” you want, but that kind of thing does help to soften my opinion of him. In fact, I really like Ashley Roethlisberger, and I like what she does. She works in the cardiac surgery department of Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
