UPDATE: 11/28/2010: The night before a critical NFC showdown with the Green Bay Packers, Ryan publicly announced that he and long time girlfriend Marshall are now officially engaged. While a public statement is just now being released, the couple has apparently been engaged for weeks. They plan to wed in the offseason.

Date of Birth: July 23, 1985
Fast Facts: Marshall and Ryan met as student athletes enrolled in the College of Communications at Boston College. Marshall was a standout point guard when she and Ryan first met and began dating during their sophomore year of school. The two have been together since then, and Sarah has moved to Atlanta to live with Ryan year round.
Fun Facts: Marshall has become a Maine basketball legend during playing days at Catherine McCauley High. Her high school accolades include: being twice named the Maine Gatorade Player of the Year, two state titles, being named to three first team all state, and named the Maine Female Athlete of the Year after her junior season. She was also a standout soccer and track athlete, being named to all state teams in those sports.

I am a huge Matt Ryan fan. She is not ugly and besides if she were who cares they prolly got alot in common since she was a killer ball player herself. I guarantee the 3 girls that posted would cheat in a heartbeat and he wouldnt want that stress anyway. Well I don't think she's ugly, but she is leaning a little towards the homely side. But you know, maybe he doesn't want to date a bleach blonde fake barbie doll like most other football players. Maybe he wants a natural looking girl that was really good at sports. And just so he likes her, that's all that matters. They probably have alot of similar interests because she was really athletic and so is he. She seems really nice as well.

All you girls have it wrong. She is not hideous, ugly or any jealously driven diatribes you say. I saw her at a Georgia Tech game when he was at B.C. And shall we say....she is very attractive, tall leggy and given his size, they make a great couple.

The first three girls are probably just a bunch of 14 and 15 year old girls with nothing better to do than bash an NFL qb's girlfriend. Matt's cute and they know they'll never have him so they just want to make fun of the situation. I don't think she's ugly, she just doesn't typically look like a "Football Girlfriend/Wife". But who says she has to look like that. She's probably really sweet with a great personality and supports Matt through everything, and that's what he likes. It's not all about looks. And maybe she is really pretty in real life.

I actually met Sarah on a flight this week not realizing who she was until afterwards.

I have great taste as I factor in the things that really matter for a long term relationship: Intelligence, good values, personality, ability to hold good conversation, and good looks are always a bonus.

Sarah has all of the above and then some. She's got a beautiful personality-very humble at that, laugh, radiant smile, volunteers her time to the less fortunate (another thing I value as I have been volunteering for the past 20 year of my life), a great communicator, just a gorgeous person inside and out etc.

She's a hottie, the pictures on her don't do any justice.

Out of all the women that I have met so far in life, Sarah is one out of the few select women I would call wifey material, a woman you want to spend the rest of your life with through thick and thin.

Oh and Sarah, ironically after last topic of our conversation, I was in the very last seat of the plane. haha.

I personally know Sarah as we work at the same Company as co-employees for about 1-2 years now. I will tell all of you idiots (I meant this towards the ones that are trying to put her down) that she is a great catch & Matt is a lucky guy as she is also a lucky girl. They make a great couple & Sarah has a ton of qualities that the majority of normal guys would love in a marraige material type of woman & that is just what Sarah is!!!!! I have regular conversations with her about sports, politics & life in general & let me tell all of you she is super Intelligent just like Matt Ryan is as I have met him in person several times & he is also the most down to earth guy that you would ever meet. This is not fair because I met her a few times in South Carolina and have met him through her. Those pictures really are bad pictures of her. She is actually some what blond now and VERY good looking. I guess some folks decided to post some bad pics or shes just not photogenic. God knows I'm not lol. The pictures they have up don't do it for me either. They don't do her justice at all. On top of that her personality with her good looks I completely understand what Matt sees in her. The crazy thing is he is so much thiner in real life than his pictures. I wish them the best of luck. I haven't met a better couple.
