Serge Ibaka (aka the Serge Protector) grew up in Spain but originally hails from Congo. Both of these facts came into play this past summer.

While the 2011-12 NBA season was on the edge of being cancelled entirely, some players sought out competitive ball over seas. Ibaka signed a 2 month deal with Real Madrid. While he didn't play much (6 games, averaged 15 minutes), he was able to keep himself busy in other ways.

Enter Hedisa Visapa, who is quite the interesting lady. She has posed for the cover of Interviu, which looks like the Spanish version of Playboy. But that's not all she does. Visapa also pens erotic fiction and has a novel in the works. And then there's that hair...

As the story goes, Visapa and Ibaka first came in contact when she messaged him through Facebook. Knowing that he would be in town, they carried the conversation over to texts and then finally met for dinner. Visapa was initially drawn to Ibaka because of his Congolese background given that is where her father was from as well.

As these things normally go, the relationship was short but reportedly very passionate. Once Air Congo set flight back to OKC, the couple broke things off. If they rekindle things during the Olympics, we'll be sure to report back.
