The Story

Time Together: The two were together for almost three years after meeting at a race in Indianapolis in 2007. Kyle proposed at Speedweek at Daytona, in February, 2010. The two are expected to tie the knot in January 2011.
Fun Facts: Kyle and Sam tour the country in a motor home traveling from race to race, with Kyle openly admitting, Our motor home is like our home away from home. She helped me build and design, it so it's kind of our first home together." At the start of the 2010 season, Kyle realized there was no better way to kick off their first night in their new motor home than by getting down on one knee and presenting Sam with a custom designed vintage diamond engagement ring. Not a bad way to pop the question, especially considering their first date was at TGI Friday’s.
Resume: Samantha graduated from Purdue University with a degree in psychology. She admits that she hopes to pursue a career in leadership coaching. During school, Sam worked as an aerobics instructor and as a promotional model for various companies and charity campaigns including events to raise awareness for the United Way, cardiac care and breast cancer.

She is the sweetest person. We got the chance to meet her and she got down to my son's level and spoke to him for a good 1/2hr. When we saw her the next day at a store she walked up and said hi to him remembering his name and before walking off said I hope you have a good birthday. He sent the picture of the two of them and she sent the sweetest thank you note back.

I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Kyle and Samantha last year at Kentucky Speedway for a Nationwide race. They were both so polite and Samantha even found a sharpie in her purse to sign my hat. Three months later I was diagnosed with breast cancer, had a radical mastectomy/lymph node cancer with 20 lymph nodes removed. I hope Samantha keeps up her support for breast cancer research. No one understands what pain is until you have had multiple surgeries, chemo, and radiation.
