The Story

  • Date of Birth: July 30, 1977
  • Fast Facts: Treanor and partner Kerri Walsh are two time Olympic Volleyball champions in the 2004 Athens games and the 2008 Beijing games.
  • Time Together: The two began dating in January, 2004, became engaged in March, 2004, and were married in November, 2004. Though they do not have children yet, Treanor has stated that she intends to start a family when she is done playing Volleyball.
  • Fun Facts: Matt and Misty have the tandem M-squared tattoos on their left arms. The M-squared obviously refers to Misty's first two initials. In an interview with ESPN, Treanor stated that she jokes with her husband "Babe, if anything ever happens, I'm still MM, but I don't know about you."

    Misty, look at him, and look at you. I don't think you need to worry about him going anywhere any time soon.
