Dustin Pedroia's Wife Kelli Pedroia

UPDATE 06/14/2014: Congratulations to Dustin Pedroia's wife Kelli Pedroia for giving birth to their third son, Brooks today. By all accounts everyone is happy and healthy.

The gritty Pedroia was in the lineup Friday night, slotted right into his #2 spot in the batting order. Don't worry Pedey,.... there will be plenty to do once you get home.

Congratulations to the entire Pedroia family

UPDATE 05/27/2014: As a Boston based site, we always have our ear to the ground when it comes to information about our city's favorite players. In this instance, people are buzzing that Dustin Pedroia's wife Kelli Pedroia is expecting their third child and is due within the next couple months.

It hasn't been the best two months for Boston baseball, so this is sure to brighten things for Pedey. Congrats to the Pedroia's and their ever growing family.

Dusty, Pedey, Laser Show, Muddy Chicken, Little Dusty Big Stick,... Dustin Pedroia is a man of many nicknames in New England (with the latter being a personal creation of the wife of a writer on this site, but hell if it doesn't work). He is the [insert your favorite cliche here; we'll go with heart and soul] of the Red Sox. But who is the woman behind the man you ask? That would be Dustin Pedroia's wife Kelli Pedroia.

Kelli Pedroia is one of the more visible Red Sox's wives when it come to giving back to the community. She was diagnosed with and battled melanoma when she was only 18. Given her level of celebrity, it's only natural that she is now a spokeswoman for the Melanoma Foundation of New England in order to raise awareness of this terrible disease. She tries to use her personal experience to educate people about the dangers of tanning beds as well as sun exposure. Both her and Dustin are involved with charity work as well, including the Jimmy Fund.

Dustin and Kelli were married in November 2006. They both attended Arizona State University, where Dustin played his collegiate ball.

The couple have two sons, born August 2009 and September 2012. Their first child prompted Pedroia to miss the 2009 All Star Game as Kelli was having complications with the pregnancy. Son #2 was not to be outdone, as Kelli went into labor mid-game, prompting a somewhat funny reaction from Pedroia when he was told on field and then proceeded to run to the dugout.

God I hate the Red Sox and their stupid ass Red Sox naiton. After winning two World Series last decade, the whole damn northeast acts like they are the greatest team to walk the Earth. And ESPN is infested with Red Sox fans. That's why you see so many commercials of theirs which include Red Sox players. Buck Showalter is so right, I would love to see Theo Epstein build a championship team with the spending amount of the Pirates. Lets bring back the curse of the Babe please.

Hello you two make a wonderful couple as husband and wife and that's awesome he has to boys to pass down his legacy too. My son is 6 he plays baseball and he LOVES LOVES LOVES Dustin Pedroia! Oh I hope I can bring him to a game one day and he is able to catch a ball from Dustin! My son would live to bat a few balls with him I'm not sure if players do stuff like that with kids but if so maybe you can email me or whoever reads these and let me know. Because my son is so good at only six but he says I will never be as good as Dustin Pedroia and I have hope that if he sticks with it he will be! And it would be cool for him to hear that from Dustin. So if there is any info on this I would love to know! Thanks and god bless you and your family!
