• In a startling development to all Olympic hopefuls, it appears that dating hot chicks takes a back seat to training. We worry for USA results in the future to come
  
  Causing this panic is the news that 16 time medal winner Michael Phelps has split with his long term gal, and former Miss California, Nicole Johnson. There are multiple reports of when the two began dating, and we’ve narrowed it down between 2007 and 2008. And with no reports of the couple having problems, it sounds like the reason for the break up was so Phelps could spend more time with his other woman, the swimming pool.
  
  Now, we understand that you need to train for the Olympics. But it seems to reason that Phelps could train in California, where Johnson is living, opposed to his hometown near Baltimore, Maryland. It’s not exactly a stretch to say that California has better weather… well, pretty much better everything than Maryland. But to each his own.
