The Story

• Here is the thing about the Olympics: there are a few sports that we would know nothing about the sport or the athletes that partake in the events, if not for the fortnight of international games themselves. In the Winter Olympics that sport has to be Curling. For the summer I think we could make a strong case that Beach Volleyball might take that title. Seriously have you ever watched a beach volleyball event outside of the Olympics. And no watching the volleyball scene in Top Gun does not count.
  While we already have a post up chronicling Kerri's partner Misty Mae Treanor's marriage to a backup Major League catcher, it's time we get the second half of this pairing up.
  
  Here is something that won't shock any of our readers, Kerri ended up marrying someone that plays the same sport that she does. Casey Jennings, while not having the same name recognition as his wife, is no slouch himself on the men's tour. Casey and Kerri actually met through Misty's parents who introduced the couple. This is the second marriage for Casey who was previously married for just more than one year. When Casey first met Kerri he gave her a nickname that has stuck throughout their relationship. Inside of the wedding ring for Kerri is the inscription "My Six Feet of Sunshine" which is how Casey referred to Kerri the first time they met. After dating for four years the couple married in 2005 and have two sons, Joseph and Sundance. Kerri and Casey believe that Joseph was actually conceived while the couple was at the Olympics in 2008.
