Has anyone seen the crowds at the Olympic beach volleyball events?
I mean we are talking huge crowds for a sport that the British home crowd can't even play because it rains all the time. I'm not even sure what they plan to do with the stadium once the games are over, because it can't possibly stay a beach volleyball venue can it?
Regardless of that the women of beach volleyball for the most part are pretty cute and that means we are going to do posts about them. April Ross is part of the Ross/Kessy US Olympic team duo which is continuing it's march through the medal brackets. I'm personally not sure what I think about April. She checks off the two common beach volleyball traits, tall and blonde but I don't know if she does it for me. Maybe my expectations are set a little too high but I'm not totally feeling her. I can however see the other side of the coin where a lot of our readers are in to her.
There's definitely someone out there that gets it, as April Ross married Brad Keenan in 2010. Keenan is a professional Men's beach volleyball player, and while he isn't on either of the Olympic Men's beach volleyball teams, he does plan to attempt a run at the 2016 games in Rio. The couple, when they are away from the beach courts, enjoy the outdoors and will bicycle to different locations when they have the time.
